Build a niche store, more commonly known as BANS is a software platform that allows you do build your own website shop which sells items on ebay.

The basic concept is that you build a website about a particular topic, and then display items for sale on ebay that match your websites topic.  So you would do product reviews or guides and then match those guides to your product.  If a visitor then goes on to buy that item from ebay you recieve a commission from ebay.

Before starting to advertise and earn money you first need to be a member of the ebay partner network (EPN) which manages ebays affiliate programme.  So you need to apply for an EPN account, before you do that though you have to have a website in operation, so that EPN can assess your site to make sure it fits their criteria (which they don’t give out).

I will mainly using BANS to build my websites that I hope will up my income, as a non techy person I find the software incredibly easy to use, there is also a great support forum where lots of advice is given.

To give you some insight into the BANS software some of the features are:

1. You can build the pages just as easily as you can type in word.

2. You can use either the existing category structure in ebay or create your own.

3. The software automatically pulls the items from ebay and updates by itself.

4. There are a number of templates available, and all you do it load them to your server and in the BANS admin area select the one you want to use.

5. You need no knowledge of computer languages such as PHP, HTML etc to use BANS.

6. The install takes only a few minutes and there is an install script that does all of the hard work for you.

So far I have just started creating websites using the software so I will update regularly on my progress in this area.
